Mission
• Achieve market share, profitability, and revenue growth targets in the territory of responsibility
• Leverage VBK presence in Surface mining industry by proactively and strategically prospect to develop direct lending opportunities
• Lead the sales strategy toward efficient Territory & Account Management
• Support the ongoing refinement and execution of company sales strategy by being a strong promoter and advocate of change and helping the organization to adapt and embrace the initiative
• Accelerate growth and consequently increase business and sales presence through Indirect Sales channels with the objective to manage a Business Partner strategy to fully enhance business opportunities
• Leverage Company’s presence in today’s underperforming segments through Indirect Sales channels
The Role
• Execute Company Sales Strategy in the territory of responsibility
• Implement actions that result in sales and profitability growth that are in line with overall company objectives and goals
• Generate new leads and market intelligence by continually identify, build and develop new client business

• Work closely with our Product and Application teams to ensure best in class support to customers
• Maintain detailed product forecasts by working closely with customer base to ensure appropriate inventory and service levels
• Monitor and report competitor movements and activities, collect field data & track sale losses for your assigned territory and customers
• Develop and promote proactive relationships with customers with the objective of gaining a clear understanding of the customer needs and a means to ensure their satisfaction
• Align customer’s goals and objectives with Company’s products and services by earning “trusted advisor” status with key customers
• Develop and promote proactive relationships with Business Partners with the objective of gaining a clear understanding of their needs and a means to ensure their performance
• Optimize the geographical coverage of the market by using channel strategy management and Business Partners in relevant areas and product segments
Competence, skills, and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; a combination of equivalent experience/education will be considered in lieu of degree
• A minimum of 5 years’ sales and/or customer service experience in an industrial environment; mining and/or construction heavy equipment experience is highly preferred
• Advanced verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Proficient level skills in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Task oriented and self-motivated
• Experience in the underground mining industry will be preferred
• Fluent in local language and English will be preferred
